	NARRATOR David Freeman Region: Hill Country Topics: Energy, Politics Mr. Freeman is a veteran utility manager and energy expert. He has been an energy and environmental advisor in the Johnson, Nixon and Carter Administrations. He has also served as general manager of the Tennessee Valley Authority and the Lower Colorado River Authority, and as chairman of the California Power and Conservation Finance Authority. While general manager of the Lower Colorado River Authority from 1986 to 1990, Mr. Freeman led the effort to withdraw from a costly and environmentally damaging lignite mine at Cummins Creek, in Fayette County, and to begin investments in energy conservation.
