Mr. Bradshaw has served as a game warden for Texas Parks and Wildlife since 1973, working to protect wildlife in the brush country of south Texas, principally Dimmit County. 

He has worked on cases involving dove, quail, waterfowl, deer and nongame species, including bag-limit, night hunting, baiting, commercial deer-breeding, aerial shooting, and out-of-season hunting violations.  He is experienced in tracking offenders and wildlife and in forensic analysis of crime scenes, skills he uses in his own work and in teaching other game wardens. 

Mr. Bradshaw is also interested in the history of wildlife protection in the state, and has collected a number of oral histories and photographs from interviews with veteran game wardens from Texas Parks and Wildlife and its predecessor agencies.
